Accompanying
the art exhibit, 'Maritime Odysseys and Woodland Encounters' are a dozen didactic
panels (13" x 19") that describe the human-natural, geophysical, historical
and mythic relationships of the Lake Superior Basin. Many of the sketches, journal
entries and photographs were made during the two years of circumnavigation of
the Lake (2001 and 2003 seasons) giving the audience a personal sense of discovery
of the region.
